Here's the problem.
Most parents know they should name a guardian for their kids. Almost none of them have actually done it. And the reason isn't that they don't care — it's that they don't know where to start, and life keeps moving.
If something happened to you tonight and no guardianship nomination existed, a judge would decide who raises your children after a court process. It wouldn't be the person you'd choose. It might not even be family.
This workshop closes that gap.
On May 14th, Ballard School families will leave the library with a completed, legally valid guardianship nomination. Not a to-do list. Not a form to fill out later. Done.
